Hestia

Associated with stove, family, sacred fire.

Hestia, the goddess of the fireplace, the sacred fire, and the protector of the house, she is one of the three goddesses (Athena, Hestia, and Artemis). She is the eldest daughter of Cronus and Rhea, that is, the eldest sister of Zeus. She has the highest rank among the twelve main gods of Olympus, and voluntarily withdrew from one of the twelve main gods and gave up her position to Dionysus. She has a kind of pure beauty. It is said that Poseidon, the God of the sea, and Apollo, the God of the sun, had courted her and had a dispute over it. To maintain peace, Hestia rejected the two great gods and swore by the hair of Zeus that she would never marry but would devote all her energy to serving the people.
